A full-time freelance writer, Spanner mainly focuses on games, TV, film, technology and entertainment topics. He's interviewed luminaries from the gaming world from inventor of video games Ralph Baer, to Atari founder Nolan Bushnell and Sonic The Hedgehog creator Yuji Naka.
He also writes writes science fiction, comedy and horror, having placed feature film scripts in three renowned worldwide screen writing competitions, and published work in a host of popular fiction publications. He's also worked with various game studios providing narrative design, script writing and character creation.
And yes: Spanner really is his first name. It's a long, but regrettably uninteresting, story.
